Hello Freaky Friends 

 

You all know me as Brooke! I am an ADHD, anxiety-ridden, true crime-loving mom of my two little men, Emmett and Memphis. I am also a dog and cat mom of one dog, five inside cats, and two outside kitties (don’t worry, they are fixed and have full access to a heated garage, heated beds, and fresh food and water). 

 

I enjoy spending time with my boys, painting, singing (not well), and writing. My goal is to write my own novel eventually. My newest venture is this podcast. 

 

I met Chelsie through my previous job, and we bonded over a shared love of the podcast Morbid. 

 

Morbid inspired me to start my own podcast for the love of true crime and find some other mom friends who shares this interest. After reaching out to a local mom group, this is how I met Michelle. 

 

The rest is history. We have all just clicked, and Moms Talk Murder was born. 

 

I have discovered new passions through creating this podcast with Chelsie and Michelle. 

 

I love all different types of music and can jam out to Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Guns and Roses, Disney, and more. 

 

If given the chance, I will watch horror movies on repeat all day long. My favorites are IT, old and new, the Conjuring series, and Insidious.

 

I love reading, and my favorite author will probably always be Stephen King (even though I still haven’t finished IT, and I started it almost 5 years ago). A new favorite of mine is “The Butcher and the Wren” by Aliana Urquhart. 

 

I think that is pretty much all about me.

I have three daughters to which I had the pleasure to raise all by myself <insert slight sarcasm>. They are 20 now <the raising is still going strong>. Triplets are different. If anyone has multiples, dm me. I'd love to chat.

 

I am also blessed to be a dog mom; and am head over heels for my puppy-babies.

 

I love my family, immediate and extended, and appreciate evey moment spent with them.

 

I am a Reiki Master and have a love for nature and animals. I am sensitive to energies and am sure I came off as a weirdo when I was younger. However, being able to become more self-aware has allowed me to better navigate my experiences. So...still weird, but I understand my anxieties better.

 

I enjoy traveling, going on adventures with my kids, meeting awesome people, and just being in the moment, which I do not get enough of. I thoroughly enjoy dancing, singing, and music that can be felt by the soul. I am a Taylor Swift music lover. No, I don't know everything about her, but I will jam with her anytime anywhere.

 

I enjoy being creative, and I wish I was able to tune in to my inspirations on command and have unlimited resources to create at will.

I’m a lifelong true crime enthusiast, nature lover, and devoted mom. For several years, I worked as a Crime Scene Technician in North Carolina, where I developed a passion for solving puzzles and uncovering the truth to bring justice.

I’ve been happily married for 18 years and am the proud mom of an almost 16-year-old daughter. Our household is a lively one, with two dogs, four cats, a rabbit, a turtle, two fish, two ducks, and a flock of backyard chickens – it's like a mini zoo at home!

When I’m not immersed in exploring chilling cases with Moms Talk Murder, you’ll find me reading a good book, enjoying the great outdoors, or relieving stress through CrossFit. I also love to travel and explore new places!
